This is my first official blog where I write about current events and what's on my mind like I think we should gang together, and start our own social network site that doesn't bully you. This site tells you who you can and cannot be friends with. Who are they to make us feel bad about ourselves by picking who we can socialize with. This is the kind of stuff I'm going to blog about.
Yesterday on a nice, cool day I set up in Chesterton, Indiana for my auto signing. It was crowded there and I had several people come and look at my books and ask questions. I enjoy doing this because I know it will lead to sales. Usually a lot of my close friends come, but lately many tell me they are coming, but they don't. Some I know are really busy being the summer, but tell me you're not coming. I'm a big boy, I can take it. Anyway, I sold several books and I left feeling loved.
Today I had an interview with a sci-fi style website about my writing career and I think it went really well. They asked me some really deep questions and being the celebrity that I am, I gave them the deepest answers I could muster. I will post the interview once it comes live.
In two weeks it's off to Chicago to meet Robert Englund, Lance Henrikson, The Soska Sisters, Traci Lords, Angus scrim, Bill Johnson, and Charles Band. I know for sure I'm getting professional pictures done with Robert, Lance, and the Sisters. Pictures will follow the August 9th encounter.
Once last thing before I sign off. How many of us really love the summer heat. I know I don't. I prefer my days in the 60's low 70's. One friend made me laugh the other day. It's one of those 90's humid days where you are sweating so bad you're eyes are hurting. She tells me while sweat is running down her face and I can tell she is ready to pass out that these are the kind of days she lives for. The hotter the better she says. Well, I'll see you in the hospital when you are admitted for heat related injuries. I'll stay in my air conditioned house drinking cold water.
That's all for now people and I will update you again next week. I also want to thank all my friends who do come to my auto signings. I really do appreciate each and every one of you. For those who promise me they're coming...I'm still waiting. I haven't given up yet. See you all later and have a great weekend.
